He survives.Other surviving family members include sons, Ronald L. Douglas, Emporia, and Dennis L. Douglas, Telluride, Colorado, brother, Bill K. Nielsen, Emporia, sister, Norma J. Powell, Henderson, Nevada, Five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry, her parents, and a brother, John Nielsen.She was a member of the First Christian Church and the womens group of the church.Mrs. Douglas had been a secretary for three elementary schools in the Emporia school district totaling 26 years.
