Description	:	Mrs. Dorthea M. Rethmel, 75, of 1118 Latty Street, died at 8:05 p.m. Sunday at Defiance Hospital, where she had been a patient for one week. She had been in declining health for four years. She was born December 10, 1907, in Defiance county, the daughter of Wallace and Lora (Frederick) Partee. She was married November 23, 1927, to J Edward Rethmel, who survives. She had lived in Defiance since birth and was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the Wesleyan Bible class the United Methodist women's group and the Wesleyan Circle. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mast and Mock Funeral Home. Dr. George R. Holcomb will officiate with burial to follow in the Evansport Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday at Mast and Mock. Memorials can be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
