She was born February 26, 1920 in Deshler, Ohio to Harry James and Ethel (Jones) Jackson. On November 3, 1951 she married Walter "James" Slee in Napoleon and he survives. She was previously married to Richard L. Brubaker and he preceded her in death in October of 1948. Dorothy worked as a cashier at ARA Campbells for over 25 years. Read More	Dorothy Jane Slee, 88, of Napoleon, Ohio died Saturday afternoon, July 19, 2008 at Golden Living Center-Northcrest, Napoleon. She was born February 26, 1920 in Deshler, Ohio to Harry James and Ethel (Jones) Jackson. On November 3, 1951 she married Walter "James" Slee in Napoleon and he survives. She was previously married to Richard L. Brubaker and he preceded her in death in October of 1948. Dorothy worked as a cashier at ARA Campbells for over 25 years. She also worked at the Wal-Mart Snack Bar for 10 years. She retired in 2000. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Napoleon. She is survived by her husband, Walter "James" Slee, Napoleon; a daughter, Linda (Paul) Limpach, Napoleon; four sons, Larry "Moe" Brubaker, Napoleon; Richard "Dick" (Cathy) Brubaker, Napoleon; Kenneth Brubaker, Napoleon; and James "Shark" Slee, Cincinnati, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and a brother, Edward (Janie) Jackson, North Port, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Richard Brubaker; two sons, Steve Brubaker and William Brubaker; three brothers, Robert, James and Howard Jackson; and two daughter-in-laws, Joanne Brubaker and Judy Brubaker. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon with Rev. Russell Shaeffer officiating. Interment will be in the Forrest Hill Cemetery, Napoleon and a luncheon will follow in the Christ United Methodist Church fellowship hall. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home and from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday; prior to the services. The family suggests memorials be given to the Judy Brubaker Scholarship Fund at Northwest State Community College.
