She received her education in the parochial schools at Worthington and later attended Mt. St. Joseph Academy at Dubuque.She was united in marriage to Mr. Evers on Jan 14, 1914 in St. Paul's church at Worthington and the young couple went to housekeeping on the Evers farm two miles north of Dyersville.Mrs. Evers was a friend to all who knew hera and she will be long remembered to her many kindly deeds. Besides a large acquaintance among whoe she has been most popular she leaves to mourn her death her husband, her parents, one sister, Lucy and a brother Herbert. The funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 9;00 o'clock from St. Francis church and interment will be made in St. Franciis cemetery.
