Nov. 21, 1934, she was married to Frank Rife Harris in Clay-Center. This union was blessed with three children, Margaret, James and Glenn. The funeral was Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., from the Nelson Community United Church of Christ with the Rev. Royce Buchtel officiating. Eastern Star rites were given by Order of Eastern Chapter, No. 27, Nelson. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery. She was raised in Nelson and attended Nelson Public School and graduated from Nelson High School. She lived her entire life in the Nelson community. They farmed for many years, later moving into Nelson. She was a member of the Nelson Presbyterian Church since a teenager, later the Nelson Community United Church of Christ, Home Im- provement Club, Ladies'Aid of the United Brethern Church and Nelson Chapter 27, Order of Eastern Star, of which she was past worthy matron. Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, Lyle, Wayne Everett and Virgil Short, and two sisters, Marie Jacobs and Fern Jacobs. She is survived by her husband, Frank;three children, Mrs. Michael Caldwell (Margaret) of Lincoln, James E. Harris of Hastings and Glenn A. Harris of Spring Valley, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; l0 great grandchildren; two sisters, Eva Hansen of Nebraska City and Leah White of Urana, Mo. and many other relatives. The Klawitter-Price Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
