Williams, 86, resident and physician in Villisca since 1903, died Saturday morning in the Rosary Hospital in Corning. Dr. Williams had retired from practice in Villisca several years ago and had been in ill health form some time. Williams, 86, resident and physician in Villisca since 1903, died Saturday morning in the Rosary Hospital in Corning. Dr. Williams had retired from practice in Villisca several years ago and had been in ill health form some time. Dr. Williams was a graduate of Rush Medical College in Chicago in 1901, and prior to entering medical college, he was principal of the Webster School at Red Oak in 1885-1896. He opened practice in Villisca in 1903 after two years in Kansas. He married Chloe White of Villisca in 1906. She was the sister of the late E. L. White, for many years editor of the Villisca Review, later engaged in newspaper work in Spencer and head of the Cancer Society in Iowa. Dr. Williams is survived by his wife and two daughters, Lillian, a teacher in Des Moines Technical High School, who was married last week to Michael W. Hourigan of Des Moines and Mrs. Florence Burns. Funeral services were held Monday at 3 p.m. at the first Presbyterian Church in Villisca with the Sutphen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The ministers, the Rev. Arthur Mortensen of Fort Dodge and the Rev. Alvin Siagus officiated at the service. The singing was by John Williams, accompanied by Mrs. Frances Wheeler. The selections were, “Be”s Still My Soul” and “Love That Will Not Let Me Go.” Mrs. George Muller, Sr. and Mrs. George Muller Jr. were members of the floral committee. Pall bearers were Paul Williams, Don Williams, David Williams, Jim Williams, Wally Williams, and Leonard Posten. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. A memorial fund in memory of Dr. F. S.
