Description : Dr. Russell studied under Dr. Will Porter and started practicing medicine in the fall of 1850. Dr. Russell was the Deputy Treasurer of Defiance County. Dr. Russell married Lucretia Ann Cameron December 26, 1854. They adopted their niece, Fanny May Russell. Fanny married Theodore Koeppe.
