Physician; co-founder of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Baltimore, now part of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Son of Peter Goolrick, Sr., ex-mayor of Fredericksburg, Va.; brother of Fredericksburg Judge John T. Goolrick, and of W. B. Goolrick, also of Fredericksburg. Field & Staff, 49th Virginia Infantry, Walker's Brigade, Pegram's Division, 2nd Corps, Army of Northern Virginia, C.S.A. Residence Fredericksburg, Va.; surgeon. He was assigned 10/13/1862 to 49th Virginia Infantry as Assistant Surgeon and stationed in Shenandoah County, VA. Surrendered and Paroled 4/9/1865 at Appomattox, VA.
