Description	:	SHOALS, NC ~ Mr. Dwight Walter Bullington, age 69, husband of Glenna Shelton Bullington, of Shoals, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home of Dobson. He was born in Surry County on September 18, 1941 to Paul Walter and Vallie Ester Dezern Bullington. Mr. Bullington worked at R.J. Reynolds for 31 years and was a member of Pinnacle View Baptist Church and a past member of the Shoals Ruritan Club. He was born in Surry County on September 18, 1941 to Paul Walter and Vallie Ester Dezern Bullington. Mr. Bullington worked at R.J. Reynolds for 31 years and was a member of Pinnacle View Baptist Church and a past member of the Shoals Ruritan Club. Mr. Bullington is survived by one son, Chad Devin Bullington of Shoals; one daughter, Shannon Leigh Bullington of Pilot Mountain; four grandchildren, Devin Rae Bullington, Leah Belle Bullington, Hannah Grace Smith and Maggie Catherine Smith; his mother, Vallie Bullington of Village Care and one brother and sister-in-law, Wick and Judy Bullington of Shoals. He was preceded in death by his father; and one infant brother, Waymouth Paul Bullington. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Pinnacle View Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ronnie Chamblin officiating with full Military Honors given by the VFW Pilot Mountain Post 9436 and of Mt. Airy Post 2019. The family will receive friends from 10 till 11 a.m., one hour prior to the Service. Dwight requested no flowers; memorials may be made to the Pinnacle View Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Ronald Inman, 739 Corner Road, Pinnacle, N.C. 27043. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mountain Valley Hospice of Dobson, N.C. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain is respectfully serving the Bullington family.
