He attained the age of 63 years, 9 months and 9 days. He was baptised and later comfirmed in Immanual Lutheran Church west of Sterling, and he was a life long member of this church. Read More	EDDIE F. MAHLER Eddie F. Mahler, was born near Sterling, Nebr., on April 3, 1904 and departed this life Friday, January 12, 1968, at a Beatrice hospital. He attained the age of 63 years, 9 months and 9 days. He was baptised and later comfirmed in Immanual Lutheran Church west of Sterling, and he was a life long member of this church. He was an active member of the congregation and held various offices in the church. He was united in marriage to Miss. Katie Walters on December 30, 1925. To this union were born one son and two daughters. He was engaged in farming until 1952 when he moved to Adams and was engaged in construction work until he retired due to ill health. His father, mother, one sister and three brothers preceded him in death. He is survived by his devoted wife, Katie; a son, Clifford of Adams; by two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Elaine) Harms of Adams and Mrs. Art (Dorothy) Dorn of Filly. He is also survived by two sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, seven grandchildren, two brothers, William of Tecumseh, Herman of Lincoln ; three sisters, Mrs. Ekke Behrens, Mrs. Marie Behrens and Mrs. Fred J. Woltemath all of Beatrice and a host of relatives and friends. Following a brief prayer service at the Griffiths- Hovedick Mortuary in Adams , funeral services were held at Immanual Luthern Church east of Adams Monday, January 15 at 2:30 P.M.., with Rev. Arthur Wittrock, pastor of the church officiating. Interment was in Immanual cemetery. Pallbearers were: Albert Bartels, Theodore Bartels, Carl Michel, August Boden, Norman Rathe and Dennis Hestermann.
