Until last year when his health began to fail, Mr. Deal had been active in the affairs of Pearson’s Mill and each year had been in charge of arrangements for their annual celebration, which drew thousands of people from Wabash and surrounding counties. For twenty years, Mr. Deal had identified himself with this work, and enjoyed it very much. He was widely known over the county. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 at the Church of the Brethren, near Pearson’s Mill, with the Rev. C. E. Lamale in charge.
