Rebekah Burial Rites Rebekah burial rites at the grave in the I.O.O.F. cemetery were in charge of members of the Victor order. Mrs. Edith Rauch, daughter of Nelson and Catherine Cackler, was born in Lucas county, Jan. 29,. 1889. On Jan. 26, 1916, she was married to John Rauch, Jr., of Victor. To this union three children were born, Cloyd, Lois and Lester, who with their father mourn their mother's untimely death. Of her immediate family, she leaves four brothers and two sisters, J. P. Cackler of Fresno, CA., W. D. Cackler of Hanford, CA., Norse Brewer of Frenso, CA., J. C. Cackler of Chariton, Bertha O. Bennett of Meadsville, PA., and Edward T. Cackler of Chariton. Member Victor Church Mrs. Rauch in her early life was a member of Reorganized Church of Christ of the Latter Day Saints, and latter united with the First Congregational church of Victor. She was a faithful member of the Pythian Sisters while a charter was held here and an active members of the Rebekah lodge serving as a delegate from the district to the Rebekah assembly for the past two years. Mrs. Rauch received her education in the grade schools and Graceland college. She took a keen interest in any work that would benefit the youth of the community. As a mother she tried always to instill in her children high ideals of life.
