Death was caused by a heart attack. Jones was a lifetime resident of the Pleasant Plain area. He had been in poor health for some time. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the Gould Funeral home in Brighton. Jones was born March 27, 1893 near Pleasant Plain, the son of David and Rachel Hoskins Jones. He was reared and educated in the Pleasant Plain community. He was married Dec. 25, 1928 to Mable Addie Lincoln. Jones was a member of the Friends church at Pleasant Plain. He is survived by his wife and two sons, David and Robert. Also surviving are the following sister and brothers: Luella Jones, Fairfield; Guy Jones, Fairfield; Albert Jones and Charles Jones, both of near Pleasant Plain.
