Description	:	EICH, EDNA A.—Edna A. Eich, youngest daughter of William and Bessie Rhoda, was born March 21, 1899, on a farm in Chelsea township. She passed away November 29, 1975, at the Fillmore County hospital in Geneva after a lingering illness at the age of 76 years, eight months and eight days. Eich, youngest daughter of William and Bessie Rhoda, was born March 21, 1899, on a farm in Chelsea township. She passed away November 29, 1975, at the Fillmore County hospital in Geneva after a lingering illness at the age of 76 years, eight months and eight days. Edna graduated from Ohiowa high school in 1918. As a child she was baptized and joined the Chelsea United Brethren church. August 28, 1918, she was united in marriage to Ernest Eich of Strang, Neb. to this union were born six children, four of whom survive. Edna was preceded in death by two infant sons, her husband, Ernest, her parents, and an infant brother and a daughter-in-law. She leaves to mourn her passing sons, Lowell E. of Denver, Col., William E. of the Strang vicinity, and Robert J. of Garden City Kas.; one daughter Mrs. Stanley Rhodes (Rhonda) of Exeter, Neb.; one son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, ten grandchildren one great-grandchild and three step-grandchildren, two sisters, Lillie C. Rhoda of Ohiowa and Mrs. S. Helen Dowis of Lincoln, Neb., and a great number of relatives and friends. Services were conducted from the Farmer funeral home in Geneva at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, with Rev. H. Paul Smith officiating. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. Her granddaughters sang “How Great Thou Art and “Beyond the Sunset.” Pallbearers were Earl Houck, Lester Kennel, Wayne Lefever, Sterling ?? Lyle Schweitzer and ??Trenary.
