Description	:	Edna Lucille Breon, 98, of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Carrington Place in Muscatine. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mathias Church. Father Joseph Sia will officiate the services. Casketbearers will be Jim Breon, Mike Breon, Gene Breon, Dennis Breon, Rick Breon and Jeff Breon. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Following the interment a time of food and fellowship will be held at Gannon Hall. Visitation for Edna will be held on Friday, June 19, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.... Sympathy notes may be left for the Breon family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Edna Lucille Orwig was born on March 15, 1911, in Lytton, Iowa the daughter of David L. and Della (Patterson) Orwig. On July 19, 1932, Edna was united in marriage to Ernest W. Breon in Early, Iowa. She taught special education children for over 30 years. She was devoted to her family, spreading her love and time between nine children and their various sports and activities. Her faith and devotion to St. Mathias Catholic Church made her a strong role model for everyone. Edna will be deeply missed by her husband; Ernest of Muscatine, five sons; David Breon and his wife, Mary, James Breon and his wife, Mary, Mike Breon and his wife, Sheila, Gene Breon and his wife, Marcia and Rick Breon and his wife, Peggy; two daughters; Ruth Ann Henrich and her husband, Ed, and Elaine Pitt and her husband, Bud; 25 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren and 4 great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Darlene Hintch and Mary McGinnis; one son, Dennis Lee Breon and one granddaughter, Susan Henrich. Lewis Funeral Homes
