Funeral Services, 3 PM, Monday, September 7, 2015, at Deep River Baptist Church, Ramseur. Officiating, Rev. Boyd Jackson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Randolph County, Edsel graduated from Coleridge High School in 1947. He was a US Army veteran, serving from 1951 to 1953, and was formerly employed with Pugh Oil Company before going into farming full-time. Spivey, and husband Edward, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Tyler Allred, Macy Jo Allred. Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Sunday, Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur, other times at the residence.
