Description	:	Edwin E. Shuping 82, of Lancaster, Ohio died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was a US Army veteran service in the Korean Conflict and retired as an operators manager for the water softening industry with 33 years of serving. He attended Faith Memorial Church, member of Olivedale Senior Citizens Center and former member of the Fairfield Heritage Association. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Shuping, son Steve Shuping, step-daughter, Lois A. Tucker, parents, Harry and Blanche Shuping, brothers, Ralph, Calvin, Bernard, and Harold Shuping, sisters, Marjorie Frazier, Doris Shelkey and Shirley Shuping. A special thank you to the Fairfield Medical Center ICU Unit staff for their love and care of him. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 with Pastor Mel Truex officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio with the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail conducting military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 11:#) - 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial gifts me be given to Andrew's Army, 228 Coonpath Rd. NE, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
