Besides his father, the deceased is survived by seven sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Elva Woods, Mrs. Joe Maruska, Mrs. Carl Hartman, Lloyd and Don, all of Blue Hill; Mrs. Fred Hearting, Appleton City, MO., Mrs. Guy Woods, Lamar; Mrs. Virgil Harrington, Arthur; and Mrs. Warren Mapes, Ashland, Ore. His mother and two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at the Merten Brothers Funeral Home in Blue Hill, with the Rev. C.E. Ruch, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge Rites Held Friday For Edwin Leetsch Funeral services for Edwin Leetsch were held Friday afternoon at the Merten Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. C.E. Ruch pastor of the Blue Hill Methodist church in charge. Miss Mary Ann Vogelpohl, accompanied by Mrs. Ralph Baird sang two solos. Pallbearers were Gerry Sanford, Harold Woods, Delbert Hartman, Anton Maruska, Carl Hartman, Jr., and LaVern Woods, all nephews of the deceased. Burial was in the Blue Hill Cemetery. Edwin R. Leetsch was born January 18, 1910 near Rosemont, Nebraska, and passed away at the Mary Lanning hospital in Hastings, Nebr., on Tuesday evening, May 1, 1951. He was 41 years, 3 months and 13 days of age. He was the son of William and Sarah Leetsch and spent his boyhood and early manhood in the Rosemont and Blue Hill communities. Previous to his illness he had been employed for some time by the Western Brick and Supply Company of Hastings. Besides his aged father he is survived by seven sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Elva Woods, Mrs. Joe Maruska, Mrs. Carl Hartman, Lloyd and Don Leetsch, all of Blue Hill: Mrs. Fred Hearting of Appleton City, MO., Mrs. Guy Woods of Lamar, Nebr., Mrs. Virgil Harrington of Arthur, Nebr., Mrs. Warren Mapes of Ashland, Oregon.
