Description	:	Thanks to contributor #46873059 Eldon G. Grove, the son of Henry Jasper "Jay" and Amanda (Epley) Grove was born January 6, 1914 at Cadams, Nebraska. He departed this life on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Center in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 92 years, one month and ten days. Eldon received his 10th grade diploma from the Cadams School in 1929. He continued his education by graduating from Superior High School with the class of 1931. Grove, the son of Henry Jasper "Jay" and Amanda (Epley) Grove was born January 6, 1914 at Cadams, Nebraska. Following graduation Eldon joined his father and Uncle Lee in their farming operation at Cadams. As a young man he was confirmed in the Cadams Methodist Church. Eldon was united in marriage to Mae Hansen of Hardy, NE. on December 24, 1935 in Phillipsburg, KS. This marriage was kept a secret for a number of months to prevent Mae from being forced to resign her teaching position at a country school near Cadams. To this union two children were born, one son and one daughter. Survivors include his daughter Judy Schrock and husband Edward of Elm Creek, NE; son Lee Grove of Cadams; grandchildren Ted Schrock and wife Shari of Elm Creek; Tom Schrock and wife Melanie of Holdrege; Kit Grove of Phoenix, AZ. and Amanda Grove of Lincoln, NE; great grandchildren Gabrielle, Jacqueline and Jacob Schrock of Elm Creek; and Grace and Brett Schrock of Holdrege; step-son Dennis Way of Superior, step-daughter Darla Brungardt of Bryon, NE., their families, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held on Monday, February 20, 2006 at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, NE. with Chaplain Missie Wilt officiating. Burial was at the Edgar Cemetery, Edgar, NE.
