Description	:	Lizzie (Graue) Kapperman was born April 5, 1884 at Lincoln, Nebraska to August and Sophia Graue. She died in the Lord on Jan. 29, 1977 at the age of 92 years, 9 months and 24 days in Belleville, Ks. Lizzie was baptized in early infancy by Pastor Alanbach in Lincoln. She was confirmed by Pastor Raschke in Eagle, Nebr. Most of her life was spent in the Chester area. She was married to Fred D. She died in the Lord on Jan. 29, 1977 at the age of 92 years, 9 months and 24 days in Belleville, Ks. Lizzie was baptized in early infancy by Pastor Alanbach in Lincoln. She was confirmed by Pastor Raschke in Eagle, Nebr. Most of her life was spent in the Chester area. She was married to Fred D. Kapperman and to this marriage four children were born: Mrs. Ida (Paul) Vorderstrasse of Lebanon, Ore.; Henry Kapperman, Mrs. Lydia (Eugene) Heitkotter and Fred Kapperman, all of Chester. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Preceeding her in death were her husband, Fred, her parents, August and Sophia Graue; three sisters, Anna, Minnie and Laura; two brothers, August and Henry; one grandchild, Virleen Vorderstrasse. Surviving her are her four children; one sister, Rosina Graue of Chester; thirteen grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 29, at 2:00 p.m., at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, with Pastor James Bauer officiating. A quartet, Mrs. Egbert Tietjen, Mrs. Wilbur Mussman, Mrs. James Bauer, and Mrs. Arno Sell,sang, accompanied by Mrs. Alvin Poppe, organist. Casket bearers were Norman Poppe, Paul Heitkotter, Jesse Jensen, Wm. Othling, Harlan Graue and Ben Horak. Interment was in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart were in charge of the arrangements.
