She immigrated to America with her parents and 10 siblings, arriving in New York on 19 April 1843 aboard the Mediator out of London. She married William Lee on 29 July 1846 in Michigan. Their children are William F., born August 1850; Mary E., born about 1852; Alicia M., born about 1859; Charles Edward, born 04 Aug 1863; and Johnston, born 1866.
