Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Buchanan, pioneers of Mono, and was born in that township 79 years ago. She became the wife of the late Henry Moffitt, who died in January. the late Mrs. Moffitt lived all her life in Mono and was well known... Read More	Orangeville Sun, March 29, 1923, page 1 - Mrs. Henry Moffitt Mrs. Henry Moffitt, an old and highly respected resident of Mono, passed away at the residence of her son-in-law, John Hewitt, of west Broadway yesterday morning. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Buchanan, pioneers of Mono, and was born in that township 79 years ago. She became the wife of the late Henry Moffitt, who died in January. the late Mrs. Moffitt lived all her life in Mono and was well known and highly respected for her many excellent qualities of both head and heart. She had a large circle of friends who will regret to learn of her death. Three sons and two daughters survive, Thomas H., John, Andrew and Mrs. Samuel Roney of Mono and Mrs. John Hewitt of this town. They have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. The funeral will take place to St. John's church cemetery on Friday afternoon.
