Description	:	Elizabeth N. McNeal was born March 24, 1822, in Mifflin County Penn. In 1844 she was united in life companionship with Jacob Forney. In 1856 they moved to southwestern Iowa where they resided until 1888, when they came to Montana since have resided in the neighborhood of Pine Creek. Nine children were born to them, five sons and four daughters. The five sons and two daughters, twenty-nine grandchildren and seven great-grand-children survive. McNeal was born March 24, 1822, in Mifflin County Penn. In 1844 she was united in life companionship with Jacob Forney. Abraham, Robert, and Mrs. Milton Kauffman reside near Pine Creek; Hall and Samuel in Washington, a son whose name we are unable to give (John) and a Mrs.(Levi(Katherine) Kauffman in Iowa. Mrs. Jared King, mother of Frs. Frank Knight, and a daughter are deceased. In early life Mrs. Forney united with the Methodist Episcopal church of which she remained a faithful and consistent member until Monday morning, July 24, 1905 when she was called to join the "church Triumphant" whish is "without spot or wrinkle." Although she did not attain nor even seek the publicity which makes one know to many outside of their immediate associations, yet those who came in touch with her could but feel that she was a mother in Israel, they felt the infuluence of a true and kind heart. Those who were with her during her lingering illness of more than two months and talked with her concerning her hopes behong this life, and heard her last audible words, feel sure that her life was a triumph in death. A life of more than eighty-three years, a companionship of more than 68 years, a family of sons and daughters honored and respected, and an unquestionable christian character, hers can truly be said to have been amatured life,, such as is symbalized by this text of her funeral discourse: - "Thou shalt come to they grave in full age, life a shock of corn cometh in his season." Job5:96. The funeral was conduced from the Pine Creek church by her pastor, Rev. W. E. Snider. The remails were laid to rest in the Shorthill cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Forney was S3 years of age and had enjoyed good health up until a few weeks ago, when her fatal illness over took her. She is survived by her husband, who is 84 years of age, and by three daughters and five sons. The funeral took place to-day at the Forney ranch and burial was in the Shorthlll cemetery.
