Read More	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Fri, Jan 2, 1942 - pg. 1 Mrs. Ella Peters Ella Blanche Rouse was born at Greenwood, Nebraska, June 28, 1874, and departed this life December 27, 1941, at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 29 days at the home of her niece, Mrs. Cecil Strawser, in Edgar. She was united in marriage to Neal Peters. To this union one son, Clarence, was born. Both preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing, two grandsons, Lloyd and Ray Peters of Angus, one sister, Mrs. Irene Wiggins, and one half-sister, Mrs. Lola Clark, both of Lincoln, and a host of other relatives and friends. She united with the church at an early age and was an active member of the Christian Church and Edgar Woman's Club at the time of her death. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church in Edgar Tuesday, December 30, 1941, at 10:00 o'clock with John W. Kile, student pastor of the Presbyterian Church in charge. Gladys Hunter sang with Mrs. Lydia Phelps at the piano. Pallbearers were Robert Peters, Ralph Peters, Forrest Peters, Herbert Peters, Ivan King and Joe Culbertson. Burial was made in the Nelson Cemetery beside her husband and son, Clarence. She was the wife of Neal Peters, deceased, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rouse, former residents of Nuckolls county. The funeral was held at the Edgar Christian church Tuesday at ten o'clock. A short service was held at the grave here in Nelson cemetery (sic) at eleven o'clock where interment was made. She leaves as nearest relative, a sister, Mrs. Arthur Wiggins of Lincoln.
