Death was due to a general breakdown of the physical system. She moved to Perry a little over a year ago, accompanied by her youngest daughter, to be with her daughter Margaret, who is a teacher there. The remains were brought to Bayard on Sunday, where they have lived since moving from their farm in Jackson township about thirty years ago. The family bought the Jackson township homestead in the year 1874 which they still own and where they are still kindly remembered by old settlers. Mrs. Corbett was preceded in death by her husband, who died at Bayard, July 14, 1912. She was the mother of eight children. They are Maurice Corbett, of Denver; Mary Francis, who died at the age of sixteen years; John Troy Corbett, deceased; David Barrow Corbett, of Tonopah, Nevada; J.H. Corbett of Bayard; Margaret and Katheryn of Perry; and Chas. Corbett, of Corpus Christi, Texas. Mrs. Corbett was a life long member of the Catholic church. She was one of the dear old ladies whom every one loved whose life was spent in the care and devotion of her family and friends and one or whom it may be truthfully said, "The world is better that she has lived. The funeral services were held at Bayard on Monday morning, conducted by her former pastor, Rev Father Coughlin, attended by many sorrowing friends. Scranton Journal. BAYARD - ...
