Description	:	Elnora Hamilton, 83, Sioux Falls, formerly of Alcester, died Tuesday (Oct. 9, 1984) in the Sioux Valley hospital in Sioux Falls after a two month illness. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Union Creek Lutheran Church, rural Akron. The Rev. Benard Nelson officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Dindot and Son funeral home in Lennox, S.D. Mrs. Hamilton, the former Elnora Hultgren, was born August 4, 1091 in Union county, South Dakota, to Michael and Christina Hultgren. She attended rural school and grew to womanhood there. She married Raymond Hamilton, Feb. 9, 1921, near Alcester. They farmed south of Alcester their entire married life. Mr. Hamilton died in December of 1952. She then resided in Casper, Wyo. for several years, returning to South Dakota where she made her home with her son, Russell, in Lennox for ten years. In 1979 she moved to Sioux Falls where she had since made her home with her daughter, Delores. She was a member of Union Creek Lutheran Church, rural Akron. Survivors include one son, Russell Hamilton of Lennox; three daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Lucille) Fodness of Lennox, Mrs. Forrest (Marlys) Ericson of Bemidji, Minn. and Mrs. Delores Homandberg of Sioux Falls; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Milford Hultgren of Yucaipa, Calif.; and one sister, Mrs. Carl (Violet) Nelson of Elk Point.
