On Aug. 12, 1931, Elva was united in marriage to Darrel Dann Matchett at Bartlett. They lived in the Primrose, Loretto and Albion areas. Elva worked as a housewife and homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Darlon Cook of Albion; three grandchildren: Susan Andreasen and husband Wayne, Barbara Oetken and husband Larry, Robert Cook and wife Gayla all of Norfolk; great-grandchildren: Karri (Mike) Wiederin, Michael (Trisha) Andreasen, Jamon (Katie) Andreasen, Bradley (Lacie) Andreasen, Ashley Oetken, Jordan Oetken, Andrew Cook, Caitlyn Cook; great-great-grandchildren: Ayden, Cael, and Mia Wiederin, Raina and Braylon Andreasen, Madeline, Owen, and Della Andreasen; along with many other relatives and friends. Elva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Marwin Matchett, infant son Donavon Darrel Matchett, brother Loris, LaVern, and infant Alvin Lawrence, sister Velna Matchett, infant great-great grandson Cade Wiederin.
