Description	:	DIED June 27, 2895, at her home in this city, Elvira, aged 65 years, 18 days, wife of George Hobson. Her maiden name was Prather and she was born June 9, 1830 in Clark County, Indiana. She was married to George Hobson, January 2, 1856. They moved to Montgomery County in 1857. She was the mother of four children, all of whom survive her. She was converted and united with the M. E. Read More	DIED June 27, 2895, at her home in this city, Elvira, aged 65 years, 18 days, wife of George Hobson. Her maiden name was Prather and she was born June 9, 1830 in Clark County, Indiana. She was married to George Hobson, January 2, 1856. They moved to Montgomery County in 1857. She was the mother of four children, all of whom survive her. She was converted and united with the M. E. Church at the age of 15. She has been a faithful, tireless worker in the Church all these years. She was a member of a class of five organized by Rev. Reed, commonly known as Uncle Billy Reed. The class bought a house 12 by 15 in which they worshipped and conducted Sabbath School. Those were the days of heroic men and women. In 1865 they moved to Sciola, where another class was formed consisting of six members. Of these two classes, only two of the original members remain, her husband and sister, Martha Prail. She passed quietly away to her reward surrounded by children and friends, leaving a sweet memory of a faithful life. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Redburn, Saturday afternoon.
