Mrs. Stillinger and her husband, who is the brother of J. T. Stillinger of southeast of Villisca, lived for twenty-seven years on their farm across the road from the J. T. Stillinger farm, moving from there to Brooks where they resided until ten years ago when they moved to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. HOBSON Stillinger Mrs. George Stillinger died Sunday morning, October 13, at her home in Coueur D'Alene, Idaho, at the age of 72 years. Mrs. Stillinger and her husband, who is the brother of J. T. Stillinger of southeast of Villisca, lived for twenty-seven years on their farm across the road from the J. T. Stillinger farm, moving from there to Brooks where they resided until ten years ago when they moved to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. From there they went to Coeur D; Alene where they lived at the time of Mrs. Stillinger's death. The deceased was a life long member of the Methodist Church. Besides her husband, Mrs. Stillinger is Hobson of Chapel, Nebraska. The body arrived in Villisca, Tuesday morning and was taken to the Fessler and Sutphen undertaking parlors to await the funeral which was held that afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Church with Rev. George A. Lawton in charge of the service. The singing was by Mrs. F. E. Shane and Mrs. S. M. Jolliffe, with Miss Erma Edwards at the piano. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. Those who were here from a distance to attend the funeral was Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Stillinger and children, Ivan, Fred, Clyde, Edna, Bernice, and Clifford of Brooks, Ed Hobson of Chapel, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. William Hobson, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Seefeldt, Mr. Nd Mrs. Doc Graves, and Miss Mae Redmond of Red Oak, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Williams and daughter, Miss Jennie of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, Mrs. C. E. Stillinger of Winnipeg, Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Merdoch and sons of Malvern, Miss Grace Latham of Elliott; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Honnett, Stanton, Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Nelson and children, Lorna and Earl of Carson, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Stillinger of North Page vicinity, and Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Gourley, Mrs. Emma Prather, and Walter Prather of Morton Mills.
