Description	:	Mrs. Emma May Mullet, a long-time resident of Superior, died at Brodstone Memorial Hospital, January 25, 1964 at the age of 93 years, 2 months and 16 days. Funeral services were conducted at the Brown-Mullet Funeral Home by Rev. Don T. Stewart on Tuesday with interment in Evergreen cemetery (sic). The following obituary was read at the service: Emma May Mullet was born November 9, 1870, in Silver Lake, Indiana, the daughter of William and Mary Lightcap Long. She was one of eight children, three brothers and four sisters having preceded her in death. She came to Edgar, Neb., about 1880 with her family. Soon they moved to a farm in Jewell County, Kansas. She married John A. Mullet, October 26, 1898, and except for a few months immediately after, has always made her home in Superior. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and worked with the women of the church as long as her health permitted. She was preceded in death by her husband in February, 1961, and her granddaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Jensen, in November, 1963. Her four children are located in the area. They are: Mrs. Paul Littrell (Hazel), Nelson; Don, Albert and Wayne of Superior. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
