Description	:	Emma Minnie Reeb Carlson, daughter of George and Charlotte Reeb was born March 13, 1888 in Eureka, Ill. In infancy she was baptized by the Rev Lang and was later confirmed into the Lutheran faith by Rev Seesko. In this faith she remained until the time of her death. She was also a charter member of the Lutheran Ladies Aid. On March 10, 1909, she was united in marriage to Charles A Carlson. Read More	Emma Minnie Reeb Carlson, daughter of George and Charlotte Reeb was born March 13, 1888 in Eureka, Ill. In infancy she was baptized by the Rev Lang and was later confirmed into the Lutheran faith by Rev Seesko. In this faith she remained until the time of her death. She was also a charter member of the Lutheran Ladies Aid. On March 10, 1909, she was united in marriage to Charles A Carlson. This happy couple made their home on a farm east of Polk until 1920, when they moved into Polk. In the last few days of her life, she became ill and was hospitalized in the Stromsburg Hospital and was later taken to Omaha, where she underwent surgery. Upon reaching the age of 58 years, 8 months, and 7 days, she answered the summons of her Savior on the morning of November 20, 1946. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Charles A Carlson, her aged parents, Mr and Mrs George Reeb, three sisters and two brothers: Lillie, Sophie and Henry of this community; Helen and Harold of Los Angeles; 3 sisters-in-law and 6 brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted by Pastor A C Warneka, on Sunday, November 24th. Interment was in the family plot in the Baptist Cemetery near Polk. Mrs A C Warneka and Mrs R Dankert sang a duet at the Brauer Funeral Home and also at the church. The prelude and recessional were a medley of hymns played by Mr John Stohs on the church pipe organ. Bilbert Benson, Virgil Blasé, Wayne Ramsey, Clifford Carlson, Lester Rehrs, and Harold Carlson, nephews of the deceased were pallbearers. The floral tributes were many and beautiful.
