Description	:	DEATHS Mrs. Emma Hostetler died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Louis Stivers of Collinsville, Okla., June 11, 1932, after a long illness. She was brought to Wakefield Sunday afternoon and funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Methodist church with Rev. J. B. Young in charge. Interment was in Highland cemetery, beside her husband. Emma Ritchie, daughter of Robert and Jane Ritchie, was born in Clinton county, Ohio, November 12, 1864 and passed away at the home her sister, Mrs. Louis Slivers at Collinsville, Okla., at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 1 day. Mrs. Hostetler lived with her parents in Clinton county, Ohio, until her marriage to Albert C. Hostetler on October 7, 1892. Mr. and Mrs. Hostetler immediately returned to Wakefield where they made their home on a farm adjoining Wakefield, until failing health caused Mr. Hostetler to give up farming in 1913 and they moved to Wakefield where they made their home until Mr. Hostetler's death, Sept. 1, 1931. Since then she has made her home with her sister at Collinsville, Okla. Mrs. Hostetler joined the Methodist church in early childhood and remained a consistent member until her death. She cared for her aged parents for several years prior to their passing to the beyond. Mrs. Hostetler had been a member of the local Home Security Camp No. 1239, Royal Neighbors of America since 1898. Seldom has there been exhibited in our community the loyal faithful devotion of a wife for an invalid husband as was the case of Mrs. Hostetler towards Mr. Hostetler. Many years she was in constant care when she herself was scarcely physically able to be about. She is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Louis Stivers of Collinsville, Okla., Mrs. Mina Cashman and Mrs. Annie Curry, both of Wilmington, Ohio.
