Mr. Kessler was a son of the late Franklin R. and Annie Mummert Kessler, and was born December 6, 1880. He had formerly been employed by the Folmer Ice Cream Company. Mr. Kessler was a son of the late Franklin R. and Annie Mummert Kessler, and was born December 6, 1880. He had formerly been employed by the Folmer Ice Cream Company. Fraternally he was affiliated with Defiance Commandery, No. 380, Knights of Malta; Constantine Castle, No. 142, Ancient Order Knights of the Mystic Chain; Hanover Lodge, No. 318, Knights of Pythias, and Hanover Lodge, No. 227, Loyal Order of Moose. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Glenn Spahr, Baltimore; two grandchildren; his step-mother, Mrs. Lucinda Kessler; two brothers, Harvey Kessler, Chambersburg, and Charles Kessler, Hanover; one sister, Mrs. Senora Nace, with whom he had made his home; one half-brother, Luther Kessler, Hanover, and four half-sisters, Mrs. Claude Warner, near Hanover; Mrs. William Lightner, Hanover RD; Mrs. Alvin Dubs, Bair's Station, and Mrs. Ernest Sterner, Jefferson. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the W. A. Feiser Funeral Home, Carlisle Street. Further obsequies will be conducted in St. Paul's (Dubs') Union Church. The Rev. A. M. Hollinger, pastor of the West Manheim Lutheran Charge, will officiate. Burial will be made in St. Paul's (Dubs') Cemetery. Friends may call at the Feiser Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 o'clock.
