After moving to Lawrence, she and her husband were partners in Ramsey's Decorating. Later they owned and operated McManness Painting and Decorating Co., and McManness Real Estate Rentals. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Michael and wife Brenda, Lawrence, Darrell, and wife Susan, Lawrence, and Leland and companion Pam Robertson, Lawrence; 10 grandchildren, Stacy, Nicole, Katie, Kyle, Rebecca, Ryan, David, Arron, Brandon and Matthew; and two great-grandchildren, Kaelyn and Riley.
