Farnsworth, 56, at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, March 16, 1963, at the Methodist church. Rev. R. A. Unkenholz officiated. He was assisted by Rev. Wanis Semaan of the Edgeley Presbyterian church. "The Senior Choir of which Mrs. Farnsworth was a member for many years sang 'Souls of the Righteous' by Noble and 'The Twenty-third Psalm' by Monson. Lois Lynn Persson was organist. Farnsworth July 30, 1927 at Ellendale. Before her marriage she taught school. "She had lived in this community since 1920 and in Edgeley since 1930. She was a member of the Methodist church, Woman's Society of Christian Service, Order of Eastern Star and the Gold Glen Homemakers. "Mrs. Farnsworth had been in ill health since last fall and had been hospitalized at intervals. She died in St. Lukes hospital in Fargo Monday night, March 11, 1963. "Surviving Mrs. Farnsworth are her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Rozella) Fortin of Mandan (ND) and Mrs. Fred (Leona) Biederstedt of New Effington, S. D.; two half sisters, Mrs. Wm. (Clara) Nemec of Agenda, Kansas, and Mrs. Albert (Maggie) Blecha of Edgeley." She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth, in July, 1953, a daughter, Mary Lee, in January 1961; her parents, one brother and one sister."
