Description	:	Ernest Clyde Eisenhauer 1969 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of Ernest Clyde Eisenhauer occurred on Saturday, September 13th., at the D.M. Hospital, Bridgewater, following a lengthy illness. Born at Newburne, on March 27, 1896, he was the eldest son of the late Eber and Margaret (Dagley) Eisenhauer, moving to Simpson's Corner in October, 1956, where he resided until the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Oickle, of Lower Northfield; and four sons, Herman of Grand Falls, Newfoundland; Innes of Kingston, Nova Scotia; Garnet, Simpson's Corner; and Moyle of Bridgewater. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and one great-grandson; two sisters, Albertina (Mrs. Veinotte); and Lena (Mrs. Henry Carver), both of Newburne; and one brother, Allen of Upper Cornwall, besides a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an only daughter, Phyllis (Mrs. Enos Corkum) in 1965 and two sons, Alden and Floyd, in infancy. A younger brother predeceased him many yeras ago and several sisters in childhood. The funeral service was held in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Newburne, of which the deceased was a member, on Tuesday, september 16th., with Rev. R. Meindl officiating. The choir, with Mrs. Harold Langille as organist, sang "Lead, Kindly Light" and "The King of Love my Shepherd Is." Interment was in the family plot in Newburne. Pallbearers were sons, Herman, Garnet, and Moyle; grandsons, Innes Jr., Roger Eisnor, and Lennis Corkum. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
