Description	:	Ernest Lindner, eldest of 12 children, born to Ernest and Julia Schwab Lindner at Sartoria, Nebraska, on April 21, 1886, and departed this life at a convalescent home, death due to a heart ailment, on November 7 at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 17 days. As an infant he was baptized in the Roman Catholic faith. He had been a lifelong resident of Buffalo County and community as a farmer, farming and living in that area all his life. As an infant he was baptized in the Roman Catholic faith. He had been a lifelong resident of Buffalo County and community as a farmer, farming and living in that area all his life. He was united in marriage on January 21, 1906 to Mary Gottwald. They were married more than 52 years. Seven children were born to this union, two sons, dying in infancy, Surviving are his wife Mary; three sons, Raymond of Litchfield, Clarence of Pleasanton, Harold of Litchfield; two daughters, Beulah Jones of Axtell, Lavada Ludu of Citrus Heights, California, 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one brother, Carl of Amherst and five sister, Bertha Royle, Emma Taubenheim, Clara Kirschner, Minnie Trampe and Mabel Hawkins all of Amherst, and many other relatives and friends. His father and mother, four brothers, one sister, one grandson and one great garnd daughter preceded him in death. Interment was in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
