Description	:	Herman, son of Ernest and Julia Schwab Lindner, was born June 05, 1902 near Sartoria, Buffalo County, Nebraska. He grew up in this community and attended school at Black Hill Creek. On August 5, 1926 he married Clara Kreutzer, daughter of Vencenz and Bertha Zwiener Kreutzer. After the tragic death of his wife, Herman sold the cafe and moved back to the Sartoria area on a farm. Herman later moved to Axtell to be near his son Russell. On July 6, 1959, Herman died there of a heart attack while at work.
