Description	:	Ernest Jacob Lindner was born in Austria, July 25, 1860 and departed this life June 2 7, 1940, at the age of 79 years, 11 months and two days. He came to this country with his sister, Mrs. Lou Heapy, in the spring of 1878 and settled near Columbus, and a year llater his mother and other sister, Mrs. Bertha Schneider, came across. Read More	Ernest Jacob Lindner was born in Austria, July 25, 1860 and departed this life June 2 7, 1940, at the age of 79 years, 11 months and two days. He came to this country with his sister, Mrs. Lou Heapy, in the spring of 1878 and settled near Columbus, and a year llater his mother and other sister, Mrs. Bertha Schneider, came across. And in the spring of 1880 they moved to Merrick county and in the fall of 1881 they came to Buffalo County, locating northwest of Pleasanton. He lived there for 62 years. He was married to Julia Schwab in 1885. Thirteen children were born to them, two dying in infancy. His wife proceded him in death December 11, 1938. He leaves to mourn their loss five son and six daughters, Ernest of Amherst, Frank of Pleasanton, Carl and Bertha Royle of Amherst, Jessie Bernert of Mason City, Emma Taubenheim, Alexander and Clara Kirschner of Amherst, Herman of Pleasanton, Minnie Trampe of Miller, Mabel Hawkins of Mason City; 30 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Schneider, of Ravenna, Mrs. Lou Heapy, Poole, other relatives and a host of friends.
