Description	:	Lex, son of Ernest and Julia Schwab Lindner, was born on a farm northwest of Pleasanton, Nebraska on September 17, 1897, and suddenly passed away on Friday, February 26, 1954, at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 9 days. At the age of 22 he enlisted in the military services of the country and served with the Veterinary Corps during WWI. Following his duty in military service he returned to the community where he was born and grew to manhood, and lived there his entire life. At the age of 22 he enlisted in the military services of the country and served with the Veterinary Corps during WWI. On January 31, 1934, he was married to Mildred Ada Jones and to this union two daughters were born. Both died shortly after birth. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; three brothers and 6 sisters, Ernest, Carl and Herman of Amherst; Mrs. Bertha Royle, Mrs. Emma Taubenheim, Mrs. Clara Kirschner, Mrs. Minnie Trampe, and Mrs. Mable Hawkins all of Amherst, Mrs. Jessie Bernett of Mason City, Nebraska, Funeral services were held at the E. U. B. Church in Pleasanton, Monday, March 1st at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. D. S. Bornemeier officiating. Interment was in the Pleasanton cemetery.
