OBITUARY- Ernest Wissler was born in Switzerland, February26, 1863 and passed away at his home near Table Rock, May 21, 1936 at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 25 days. When 18 years of age he came with his parents to America and settled near Humboldt. On June 17, 1918, he married Pauline Haug. For several years they made their home in Kansas, coming to Table Rock 15 years ago. When 18 years of age he came with his parents to America and settled near Humboldt. On June 17, 1918, he married Pauline Haug. For several years they made their home in Kansas, coming to Table Rock 15 years ago. Three children, August of Council Bluffs, Elizabeth of Pawnee City and Margaret of Omaha, and three grandchildren survive to comfort Mrs. Wissler. Mr. Wissler is also mourned by three brothers, Edward of Humboldt, Nebr., Godfred of Washington and Robert of DuBois, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Rist of Bern, Kansas. The deceased was well known in Table Rock and many friends join the family in sorrow at the passing of their friend and neighbor. Funeral services were held at the Kovanda Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in charge of Rev. Arthur Embree of the Methodist E. church, and the interment was in the cemetery near his old home south of Humboldt. Somewhere back of the sunset, where loveliness never dies, he lives in a land of glory, with the blue and gold of the skies, and we, who have known and loved him, whose passing has brought us tears, Will cherish his memory always, to brighten the drifting years.
