Evidently the headstone/inscription in Evergreen cemetery was done as a pre-need, but her burial in Evergreen cemetery was not recorded. Her information was left in local burial listings likely because her husband John Schlief was/is buried in Evergreen cemetery. ------------------------ Obituary: (full transcription a/o July 2, 2018) Fairfield Ledger Thursday January 18, 1968 Pg. 8 Col. 1 Schlief Funeral In Arkansas Last rites and burial were held in North Little Rock, Ark., for Mrs. John Schlief, 96, former long-time resident of Fairfield. Word received here said Mrs. Schlief passed away Jan. 10 in a nursing home in North LIttle Rock. She moved to that community from Fairfield in 1951. Eva L. Robison Schlief was born Dec. 9, 1874. She was married to John Schlief on Dec. 24, 1896, who preceded his wife in death several years ago. She was also preceded in death by one son, Howard, who died in May, 1967, and a daughter.
