Description	:	OBITUARY: Evelyn A. Oehm, 93, of Steinauer, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh. She was born to Paul and Martha (Kamen) Conradt on March 18, 1919 in Steinauer, Nebraska. She attended grade school and high school in Steinauer, graduating with the Class of 1938. She was united in marriage to Rudolph Oehm at Holy Family Catholic Church in Summerfield, KS. on Jan. 20, 1944. To this union five children were born. Rudolph passed away June 28, 1971. She was born to Paul and Martha (Kamen) Conradt on March 18, 1919 in Steinauer, Nebraska. She attended grade school and high school in Steinauer, graduating with the Class of 1938. She was united in marriage to Rudolph Oehm at Holy Family Catholic Church in Summerfield, KS. on Jan. 20, 1944. To this union five children were born. Rudolph passed away June 28, 1971. Evelyn was a homemaker and worked for the Campbell Soup Company in Tecumseh until her retirement. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, baking, crocheting. quilting, and singing in the church choir. Evelyn had a complete love of her church. She was very active in the St. Anthony Altar Society and its many functions. Evelyn especilly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. When her health began to decline, Evelyn moved from her home in Steinauer to Ridgeview Towers in Tecumseh and later transferred to Belle Terrace. She is survived by her children, Velma McHenry and husband James of Paragould, AR., Dale Oehm and wife Janice of Humboldt, NE., Gerald Oehmof Tecumseh, Marie McHenry and husband Owen of Steinauer, 13 grandchildren. 19 reat-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, sister JosephinePepperl of Burchard and nieces and nephews. She was precedd in death by her parents, husband, Rudolph, son, Allan Oehm, sisters, Marie Sears, Clara Grof and Lyola Kroll and brothers, Adrian Conradt and Clem Conradt. Funeral mass was at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Steinauer, NE., at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 with Father Scott Courtney and Father Thomas Dunavan officiating. Organist, Delores Puhalla and Fran Herrick provided service music and St. Anthony's Choir. Pallbearers were: Byford Schmit, Paul Schmit, Lonnie Herrick, Bill Jasa, Mike Puhalla and Don Borcher. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons. Wade Oehm, Jeff Oehm. Daryl McHenry. Matt McHenry and Mike McHenry. Interment was in the St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, rural Steinauer, NE.
