Description	:	Evelyn May Larkins, first child of Wm. Lee and Christina Crouse Larkins was born Aug. 22, 1914, at Chester, NE, and died April 1, 1994, at St. Joseph Hospital in Concordia, KS. Although physically handicapped since birth she attended school and had a wonderful memory. Considered the family historian she easily remembered names and dates. She was a faithful member of the Christian Church. Following the death of her parents she moved to Mt. Joseph Care Home where she lived for fourteen years. She is survived by a brother, Willard Larkins and wife, Wilma, Concordia; two sisters, Hazel Pleis and husband, Leonard, Aurora, CO, and Ilo Fay Tiemeyer, Braddyville, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Ella Smith and Shirley Walta. Services were held April 1, 1994 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, conducted by John Dittmer, pastor of the Concordia Christian Church. Interment was in the Chester Cemetery. Pall bearers were: Harold Crouse, Wilbert Crouse, Wm. Thompson, Eldon Collins, Hubert Brokesh and Willard Holtzen.
