Description	:	Everett A. Niemeyer, 81, Lincoln, passed away January 14, 2011 at his home. He was born July 26, 1929, son of Carl H. and Dora (Parchen) Niemeyer at Falls City, Neb., one of four children. The family moved to the Stella area in 1933 where he graduated from Stella High School in 1948. After graduation he worked for Midwest Const. Co. in Nebraska City operating heavy equipment. Read More	Everett A. Niemeyer, 81, Lincoln, passed away January 14, 2011 at his home. He was born July 26, 1929, son of Carl H. and Dora (Parchen) Niemeyer at Falls City, Neb., one of four children. The family moved to the Stella area in 1933 where he graduated from Stella High School in 1948. After graduation he worked for Midwest Const. Co. in Nebraska City operating heavy equipment. He enlisted in the Air Force in January 1951 taking basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas before being transferred to Maine where he met & married his wife (Edwina Fitch) of Princeton, Maine in May 1954. After being discharged from service in 1955, they moved to Falls City and worked for Crook Construction, later moving to Lincoln where he attended the University of Nebraska, after which he was employed by the Nebraska Dept of Roads in Civil Engineering from which he retired. To this union were born three children, his wife passed away on June 27, 1965 and he raised the children alone. His pastime was fixing things, be it mechanical or household. Everett was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sons, Jeffery at age 44 and Michael at age 45; grandson, Tyler Otto age 4; son-in-law, Robert Otto; and sisters, Imogene Baker and Delpha Stanley. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Otto; daughters-in-law, Nancy Niemeyer and Theresa Lindquist; four grandsons, Dustin Niemeyer and Ryan Niemeyer all of Lincoln, Brandon Otto of Rockford, Ill. and Spencer Otto of Lincoln; four granddaughters, Alyssa Otto, Lauren Niemeyer, Kallin and Kierstin Niemeyer all of Lincoln; and one sister, Nellie Lee Losckard of Stella, Neb. Everett's health had not been good for many years.
