Everett was born August 30, 1928, in Macomb, IL to Lloyd and Alice (Vogler) Davidson. He married JoAnn Cox on June 26, 1948, in Fairfield, IA. They celebrated 67 years of marriage before she passed away June 4, 2016. Everett was in the National Guard and worked for Michigan Wisconsin Pipeline as a lineman for over 25 years before he retired in 1983. He was a founding member of Birmingham Lions Club, volunteered on the Birmingham Fire Department, served as treasurer of Birmingham Free Methodist Church and on Birmingham City Council. Most important to Everett was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Left to share Everett’s memories are his three daughters, Karen (Derrick) Taylor of Fairfield, IA, Vickie (Richard) Wahl and Pam (John) Barnett both of Birmingham, IA; 6 grandchildren, Nick Barnett, Casey Barnett, Keri Wahl, Staci Wahl, Kelly Morris and Shawna Fisher; 8 great grandchildren; two step great grandsons; one brother, Max Davidson of Bloomfield, IA; and one sister, Betty Thompson of Washington, IA. Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Alice Davidson; his wife, JoAnn; his son, Steven Allen Davidson at infancy; one brother, Dick Davidson; and one sister, Patsy Davidson at infancy.
