Visitation for family and friends will be 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2016 prior to the service at Behner Funeral Home. Service will be 2:00 pm at Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Cards and memorials can be mailed to: 530 East Cedar, Birmingham, IA 52535. JoAnn Davidson was born June 24, 1931 in Fairfield, IA to Dale and Lucille (Davidson) Cox. She married Everett Davidson June 26, 1948 in Fairfield, IA. This month they would have celebrated 68 years of marriage together. JoAnn was an Avon representative and worked at McCoy Insurance in Keosauqua for 22 years before she retired. Some of JoAnn’s interest were to watch basketball and baseball on TV, camping, fishing, mushroom hunting and traveling. She enjoyed caring for babies. Most important to JoAnn was going to her kids and grandkids school activities. JoAnn is survived by her husband, Everett Davidson of Birmingham, IA; three daughters, Karen (LeShun) Taylor of Fairfield, IA, Vickie (Richard) Wahl and Pam (John) Barnett both of Birmingham, IA; 6 grandchildren, Nick Barnett, Casey Barnett, Keri Wahl, Staci Wahl, Kelly Morris and Shawna Fisher; 8 great grandchildren; and two step grandsons. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Lucille Cox; and her son, Steven Allen Davidson at infancy. On-line condolences can be made to the family at: behnerfh.com.
