Description	:	The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": The River Press, Fort Benton, Mont., 24 March 1993 Fannie Jensen Fannie Jane Alderson Jensen, age 101, passed away March 22, at the Big Sandy Medical Center. Her funeral will be held Friday, March 26, at 2 p.m., at the United Methodist Church, Fort Benton. She was born Feb. 13, 1892, to Tom and Jan Alderson. Her funeral will be held Friday, March 26, at 2 p.m., at the United Methodist Church, Fort Benton. She was born Feb. 13, 1892, to Tom and Jan Alderson. Her mother passed away when she was two weeks old and distant relatives, the James Withee family, raised her with their children. She grew up in Hurley, S. D., and in 1911 she married Jerry Jensen. In 1915, they came to Montana and took up a homestead north of Loma in the Colony Bay area. They had four children. Her husband passed away in 1972 and she continued to live on the farm until 1982 when she moved to Sunrise Bluffs and lived there until 1988. She was then moved to Big Sandy Medical Center for further care at the age of 96. She was a wonderful mother and friend and loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son and a daughter. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Drennen and Irma Larson, both of Fort Benton, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
