The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Benton Funeral Home, with burial in Riverside cemetery in Fort Benton. She is survived by a son, Merle Larson; two daughters, Donna Graham and Kay Chenowith; eleven grandchildren and six step-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. She is survived by a son, Merle Larson; two daughters, Donna Graham and Kay Chenowith; eleven grandchildren and six step-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Irma Larson passed away March 14, 2008. She was born Nov. 6, 1911, Hurley, S. D., to Jerry and Fannie Jensen. She came to Montana with her parents in 1915, to a homestead and lived north of Loma until 1971. She married Floyd Larson on Nov. 6, 1938, in Big Sandy, and farmed with him in the Colony Bay area until they retired and moved to Fort Benton. Floyd passed away in 1975 after they had been married 37 years. After his death, she traveled with several other ladies to Alaska, Canada, New England, and Hawaii, among other destinations. She belonged to Eastern Star (Bethany Chapter 42), the Methodist Church and the Hospital Auxiliary, all of Fort Benton, and the Sons of Norway of Great Falls. She loved to play pinochle and belonged to a club in Fort Benton. She lived in her own home in Fort Benton until 2001, when she moved to the Sunrise Bluffs, and then to the Missouri River Medical Center Nursing Home in 2007. In addition to her husband, Irma was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ronald Jensen; and two sisters, Thelma Drennen and infant Norma.
