Description	:	Faye Jessie Milligan, the daughter of Thomas and Nellie Firkins Van Austin, was born in Taylor County, Iowa September 4, 1895. She passed away June 11, 1976 at the age of 80 years, 9 months, and 7 days, at the Omaha Hospital where she had been hospitalized four weeks. Read More	Faye Jessie Milligan, the daughter of Thomas and Nellie Firkins Van Austin, was born in Taylor County, Iowa September 4, 1895. She passed away June 11, 1976 at the age of 80 years, 9 months, and 7 days, at the Omaha Hospital where she had been hospitalized four weeks. On September 9, 1915 she was married to Lonnie Milton Milligan in Corning, Iowa. To them were born three children, Treva Marie, Harry James, and Betty Alice. Faye spent her entire life in and around Villisca and for twenty years owned and operated with her husband, Milligan’s Cafe in Villisca. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Villisca. Preceding her in death were her husband, infant daughter, Betty Alice, her parents, and brother Glen Van Austin. Surviving are her daughter Treva of Chicago, son James and daughter-in-law, Opal, sister Velda Cooney, all of Villisca, sister Ferne Egleston, Portland, Oregon, brother Roe Van Austin, Comes, Washington, one granddaughter, Beverly Lindell and her husband Darle, two great grandchildren, robin and Jeffery Undell, of Lincoln, Nebraska, a host of other relatives and many, many friends. Faye was dearly loved by everyone; always giving her love and kindness for others. Her family and everyone who knew her will grieve for her as she was loved deeply by them. Services Monday, June 14, 1976 at 2:00 p.m. from the Wolfe Funeral Home, Villisca, Iowa. Officiating, Rev. Eldon Haworth. Organist, Mrs. Quinley Dunn, Soloist, David Hull, Song, “God Understand.” Flower bearers Mr. and Mrs. Glen Greenfield, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Williams. Casket bearers were Gerald Peterman, Fred Schnoz, Milton Lindell, Raymond Eitzen, Glen Doan, Jack Wright, Edward Weiner, and George Petty. Interment was in the Villisca Iowa Cemetery.
